Our Vision
Our vision for the school is quite simple; hope. Through the different initiatives that the school offers we aim to provide the children and their parents with the foundations for a brighter future and a safe, caring and happy environment.

What Does the School Offer
After school homework assistance across a variety of subjects with the support of 8 teachers, including a head mistress.
A safe refuge for children to go after school away from the dangers of the street.
A daily hot meal for each child.
Three outings per year per child. For many the only time the children leave the Township.
A Skills Programme which teaches children & parents practical skills that are not covered on the school syllabus.
Nourishing the Children
Undernourishment of children is a major problem in the Township and impedes their learning ability. We, therefore, supply a cooked and nourishing meal to the learners on their arrival at the school. This is often the only hot meal they will receive in the day.
In Addition the Fund Contributes Towards
A Library and Reading Room with books in both English and Xhosa that the children and hopefully in future for the community to use.
A growing supply of computers and laptops for the children and the community which is rare in the Township. The children who move onto senior school are also welcomed to use the computers for their projects which benefits them hugely and inspires the younger children.
The fund contributes towards the general running costs for the centre which the whole community benefits from.
Each Year, we Raise Between £30,000 and £40,000
All our funding is through donations and fundraising events, we have no running costs and our Trustees are volunteers so 100% of your donation goes straight to the school.
